Gerardo E. Francia has a recognized experience in corporate law, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, general commercial and antitrust.

He is a senior partner of the General Corporate practice at Rosso Alba, Francia y Asociados, previously he was a partner in charge of the Antitrust and Antidumping practice al Hope, Duggan & Silva. He was a foreing associate at the London Office of Slaughter & May (1994-1995); he served as General Counsel to the Coca-Cola Bottling Holding Group (1992-1993) and was an in-house lawyer at the Legal Department of Acindar (1992)

He was also an associate at Marval & O Farrell (1990-1992) and at Brons & Salas (1985-1990)

Additionally, Mr. Francia has served as professor of Commercial Law at the school of Foreign Trade of Fundación BankBoston and at the School of Economics of Universidad de Belgrano and deputy professor of International Business Transactions at the School of Law of Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Mr. Francia has been chosen as one of the best lawyers of his generation by Latin Lawyer-Argentina 2003: Forty under 40; he has been recommendedin the category Competition/ Antitrust Lawyer by Global Counsel 3000, 2003/2004 edition; and nominated as one of the  “Leaders in their Field” (Corporate/M&A – Argentina) by Chambers Latin America.
